The Sun readers were led to believe that its Conservative Party friends at Cambridge University had stripped the BNP leader of his degree as they did not like his politics.
If The Sun reporters have any degrees, they should be taken away for failing to check their references. The story came from a student website (The Tab), was dated 1st April and signed off by April Fewl. Well spotted by The Independent.
