According to The Sunday Telegraph (17th May, P4) Max clifford;Publicist, thinks MP's should "...pay back the money. They need to be punished". That is like the police saying to a bank robber, give the money back and we will let you go.
Joan Ryan the MP for Enfield lives in Enfield so why is she sllowed to claim for a second home! Enfield is a well known commuter area and thousands travel from Enfield to London everyday and pay their own fares and are probably closer to earning the average salary (€22,000) than Ms Ryan is.
