Hamersmith and Fulham -Example of Big Society CON

Conservative Councillors in Hammersmith & Fulham sold 12 homeless shelters to a private developer and the local children's playing field to a Polo Consortium (The Independent, 5th May).

The homeless were offered shelter over christmas by the BBC but the children now have no playing field in the summer and their racing track (featured in Chariots of Fire) has been ripped up.

These Conservatives won the seat from Labour on the basis they were the "New Conservatives"
