Caldwell, Enoch Powell and Revolution

Immigration is one thing, Islam quite different. Muslims expect us to change our customs to accommodate theirs. And that is just of Revolution.

Ironically this morning, the post delivered a copy of Christopher Caldwell's Reflections on the Revolution in Europe a book just published by Penguin Books on Immigration, Islam and the West.

Enoch Powell may not have been morally right, Caldwell argues, but he was factually right predicting in the 70's that the non-white population of Britain would be 4.5m by 2002 (4,635,296 by 2001).

Having read the first chapter where Caldwell appears to make two key points. Firstly he notes that from virtually no Muslims in 1950 Europe now has between 15-17 million. Secondly, whilst this rate of migration is not unlike that of Latinos to America, they made no fundamental changes to American cultural practices or institutions. On the other hand Islam, in Europe, has created women only hours in swimming pools, prayer rooms at work and universities, and businesses eliminating the tradition of drinks after work.

Now they want to change English Law - see previous blog post.
