Welcome

Firstly a big welcome to my site. You experienced bloggers will have to bear with me as I am new to this idea.

For my overseas bloggers I should explain that MP in Britain means Member of Parliament. You could put Rt.Hon (Right Honourable) in as a prefix but this would make the URL awkward and not easy to find.

Members of Parliament have to declare there interests so I need to make it clear that my "Blogg" was here well before Blogger.com. My father had heard of computers but my grandfather could not even spell the word.

I come from a working class background and do not belong to any political party. Being the rebelious working class lad I voted for the Conservative Party in Maggie Thatcher's era but started to fume when she sold off key assets like water and electricity and started voting Liberal Democrat.

Then I read Martin Bell's "An Accidental MP" and agree we need more Independent MP's to get better politics.

So let the blog begin!
